Challenge

Nacon sought to create an electrifying community activation for *Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown* through an innovative alternate reality game (ARG). The objective was to boost community engagement and generate anticipation for the game by immersing fans in a complex, collaborative online quest, leading to the unveiling of the game's highly anticipated release date.

Solution

We developed and launched "Origins," a gamified campaign designed to captivate and engage the community. The campaign featured a mission hub, a countdown, and an interactive Discord server where fans could collaborate and share their progress. Players embarked on a thrilling internet scavenger hunt, solving five intricate missions that ultimately unlocked 3D models of six cars featured in the upcoming game.

Results

The "Origins" campaign was a resounding success, driving massive organic engagement:

- +300K organic views in just 3 days – fueled by streamers who created over 40 YouTube videos, all organically inspired by each new ARG mission.

- 90,000 player sessions – demonstrating the deep involvement of the gaming community.
